About St Albans and District Foodbank (St John's Markyate)

The St Albans & District Foodbank operate 9 foodbank centres across the District, providing three-day emergency food parcels and essential hygiene items for local people in crisis. Our mission is to end food poverty by helping people move beyond crisis. Through our Foodbank Plus model we offer on-site income and debt advice with Citizens Advice St Albans and holistic support from our Wellbeing Coordinators, who provide emotional/practical help and make warm handovers to specialist services. Working with partners, we ensure support reaches those most in need while treating everyone with dignity and respect.
