About Glasgow South West Food Bank (Penilee Foodbank Centre)

This is the Penilee Foodbank Centre of Glasgow South West Foodbank, one of five of our Foodbank Centres in the area.

Open on Tuesday mornings and accessible from Paisley Road West via First Bus numbers 9 and 9A and McGills numbers 17 and 38. We are also a short walk from Crookston train station.

Referral requirement

We operate on a referral basis, referrals are available from most local GP Surgeries, Housing Associations, MP and MSP's Offices, Glasgow Helps and Support Workers. If you are unsure where to get a referral, please contact us.

Services offered

We are an emergency food provision service for those in food crisis. Service Users will receive a nutritionally balanced food parcel, of mainly non-perishable foods, designed to last a minimum of 3 days.
