About Barton Area Food Bank

Barton Area Food Bank covers the town and the surrounding villages aiming to provide food and essential household items to those who are struggling to adequately feed themselves and their families.

The Food Bank is currently hosted by the Salvation Army Church in Barton and their premises are used for the distribution sessions.

Referral requirement

Referral is requested from a range of professionals who are aware of the client's needs. This includes the Job Centre, local authority, social workers, schools, citizens Advice Bureau and others

Services offered

Parcels of food and household essentials such as toiletries. Advice is also given about other services about which the clients are advised or may be sign-posted to.
